    Traits & Background

    Character Sheet Guide

    Follow these steps to fill out your character sheet:

    📝 Basic Information

    • Write your character's Name and Background

    • Note their Age

    • If using a class package, note it for reference

    💪 Ability Scores

    • Write STR, DEX, and WIL scores

    • These are used for saves (roll d20 ≤ score)

    ❤️ Hit Protection & Armor

    • Write your HP value

    • Write your Total Armor value

    • HP = ability to avoid damage, Armor = damage reduction

    🎒 Equipment

    • List all gear in your inventory

    • Remember: 10 total slots (6 backpack + 4 body)

    • Bulky items take 2 slots

    🎭 Character Traits

    • Use traits for roleplay inspiration

    • These help define your character's personality

    • Reference during social interactions

    ✨ Spells (if any)

    • Write spell name and description

    • Remember: casting adds 1 Fatigue

    • Fatigue takes 1 inventory slot

    Quick Rules Reference

    Saves

    Roll d20 ≤ ability score to succeed. 1 always succeeds, 20 always fails.

    STR: Physical power, lifting, poison resistance

    DEX: Speed, reflexes, dodging, sneaking

    WIL: Persuasion, magic, intimidation

    Combat

    Roll weapon die, subtract target's Armor, deal remainder to HP.

    Impaired: Roll d4 damage regardless of weapon

    Enhanced: Roll d12 damage instead

    Multiple attackers: Roll all dice, keep highest

    Damage & Health

    HP = 0: Roll on Scars table

    HP below 0: Reduce STR by remainder, make STR save or take critical damage

    0 STR: Death | 0 DEX: Paralysis | 0 WIL: Delirium

    Inventory

    10 slots total: 6 in backpack + 4 on body

    Bulky items: Take 2 slots

    Full inventory: Reduces HP to 0

    Backpack: Can be sleeping bag when empty

    Magic

    Anyone can cast spells from Spellbooks

    Casting: Hold book in both hands, read aloud, gain 1 Fatigue

    Fatigue: Takes 1 inventory slot, removed by rest

    Enhancement: With time/safety, enhance spells for free

    Healing & Rest

    HP: Restored by moment's rest + water

    Ability damage: Week's rest + skilled healer

    Deprivation: Cannot recover HP, adds Fatigue daily
